Good day, esteemed users of the International Cyber Cup platform!
For quite some time, the platform has employed a system of caps redistribution through linear interpolation based on the accumulated points (PTS) and the duration (in days) of a player's membership in a clan. However, like any system, the new approach had its vulnerabilities. We decided to address these shortcomings and refined the system to ensure the most logical, fair, and equitable calculations.
CLAN'S ENTRY INTO THE TOP RANKINGS
PREVIOUSLY: A clan's entry into the top rankings was calculated by determining the arithmetic mean of PTS among all clan members whose PTS exceeded 1000.
№ | User | The number of PTS (points) |
1 | Player1 | 10000 |
2 | Player2 | 9500 |
3 | Player3 | 9000 |
4 | Player4 | 8500 |
5 | Player5 | 7000 |
6 | Player6 | 6500 |
7 | Player7 | 5500 |
The average PTS (PTS of the clan): The sum of the PTS of all players (56000) / the number of players in the clan (7). |
8000 |
NOW: A clan's entry into the top rankings is calculated by determining the arithmetic mean of the five clan members with the highest PTS.
For example:
№ | User | The number of PTS (points) |
1 | Player1 | 10000 |
2 | Player2 | 9500 |
3 | Player3 | 9000 |
4 | Player4 | 8500 |
5 | Player5 | 7000 |
6 | Player6 | 6500 |
7 | Player7 | 5500 |
The average PTS (PTS of the clan): The sum of the PTS of the top-5 players (44000) / 5. |
8800 |
As seen from the examples, the calculation system significantly impacts the average PTS (PTS of the clan), and the difference is 800 PTS.
Moreover, the top-5 clan members must meet the previously established requirements—each player must have been in the clan for more than 30 days before the end of the season. If a player does not meet this requirement, they are disqualified, and the calculation proceeds with the next player.
For example:
№ | User | The number of PTS (points) |
1 | Player1 | 10000 |
2 | Player2(player disqualified) | 9500 |
3 | Player3 | 9000 |
4 | Player4 | 8500 |
5 | Player5 | 7000 |
6 | Player6 | 6500 |
7 | Player7 | 5500 |
The average PTS (PTS of the clan):
|
8200 |
The change in the clan top calculation principle does not affect the system for calculating caps for players who are members of the clan.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
PREVIOUSLY: A clan was considered any formation of players without a defined number of players.
For example:
At the end of the season, the clan consists of 3 players who meet the requirements of the rules, and when the clan enters the top rankings, the reward is calculated for 3 players.
Attention!
If a clan consists of five players, and at the end of the season one of the players is disqualified (for example, due to violating the clan membership rules, such as having been in the clan for less than 30 days), the entire clan will be disqualified as the rule has been violated.
CONCLUSION
We hope that these new changes will provide the fairest assessment of the effort and time invested by users who dedicate their efforts for a worthy and well-deserved reward.
