My name is Muhammadnazar. My city—Andijan—is a place I am proud to call home. Andijan is located in eastern Uzbekistan, in the very heart of the picturesque Fergana Valley. This city is rich in history and culture, and the landscapes of this city are just wonderful.

Andijan is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. Several millennia are fitted into it to self-express its history, and absolutely without fail, one will stumble upon vestiges of the past around every turn. The main attraction of this city is an open-air museum—the remains of the ancient Er-Kurgan city. There are huge crowds of tourists who yearn to bathe in an atmosphere of the ancients.

Andijan is famous for its rich cultural traditions. Here, every year, national festivals and holidays—like Navruz—are held. The whole town is alive with bright performances of folk dances; one can hear traditional music. It is the townspeople who are proud of their preservers of craftsmanship in making national carpets, ceramics, and embroidery.

Except for that, Andijan is famous for its nature. Green fields and gardens surround the city, and the Karadarya River runs nearby. During the warm seasons, every opportunity should be used by residents and guests of the city to rest in nature by organizing picnics and excursions.

Modern Andijan is also a center of science and education. A number of universities and research institutions are placed in the city, where talented people study and work. In recent years, the city has been actively developing and modernizing, thereby making the place to live in even more attractive.

Andijan is a city with a soul—it's a place where being joins the past and the present in peaceful coexistence. Staying here means being a part of great history and a bright future. I'm proud of my city, and I love it with all my heart.

I live in the 3rd microdistrict of the city of Andijan. This is a very cozy and comfortable area that has become my home. My microdistrict has everything necessary for comfortable life: schools, kindergartens and clinics, and shops.

One of the features of our microdistrict is beautiful and well-maintained territory: green courtyards with playgrounds and parks, creating a fine atmosphere for promenade and rest. You can meet families with children walking along the streets in the evenings, and on weekends, quite often, there are organized events and sports competitions held.

We also have some big supermarkets and shopping centers in our microdistrict where one can buy all the necessary things for your home. Further, one can find lots of wonderful cafes and restaurants with traditional Uzbek cuisine. One of my favorite places is a small restaurant that serves the most delicious plov and lagman.

Education is one of the most significant elements in district life. Some of the best schools in the city and many children's educational centers and clubs are situated in the 3rd microdistrict. Children have great, various opportunities for development and learning, and that is why our district is especially attractive for families with children.

The level of public transport availability is also high. The proximity of the stops makes all parts of the city easily accessible. And trips to the city center are quick and comfortable thanks to the convenient location of the microdistrict.

Joyfully living at one of the greatest places in Andijan, I can call the 3rd microdistrict my home. There is a friendly atmosphere here, with people like that, never to be afraid of. My microdistrict is a small world where every day brings a lot of lovely moments, joy, and many other feelings.
