Good day dear users and the administration of this lovely platform ! Today I want to share some information about my hometown.

To kick off with, I think, it would be better to introduce you the history of my city. Its look was like this

As some of you know, Tashkent is an ancient city. It was first settled in between 5th 3rd centuries BC near the Chirchik river. This city served people as a commercial center, cultural center and these were what made the city very special. People brought their handmade products to bazaars (open air markets) either to sell or to exchange to the goods they needed. We have to mention Chorsu bazaar when we talk about Tashkent city. It was and it is the biggest open air market not only in Uzbekistan but in Central Asia too.

[i]In addition we celebrated 2200 years of Tashkent city in 2009. I am proud of being one of the residents of this lovely city.

Today Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan since 1930. There are now a lot of people working and studying here. The city is full of a crowd. Transportation system is also well organised. Most of the people use public transportation as it offers them cheaper prices and a little bit comfort. Especially, Metro which opened in 1977 is the rapid transportation system of the city and it was the first subway system in Central Asia. It transports around 3000 people in a single day.

The government is spending a lot of money on the projet Tashkent City. This project includes many different modern constructions to make it very contemporary. I was really wondered when I saw the beauty of my city.

There are a lot of options to choose whenever I feel like going somwhere to chill out or spend time with my friends. I would recommend you to go to the park called Magic city.

Imagine, you are there, holding hands of your lover in the lights of the moon. Where would you find the place like this to deeply relax ? I think there may be better places, but it is also the special one.

Anyway, I share the video that shows almost full Tashkent city. If I try to describe the city with words, you will probably get bored and that words will probably be the biggest book in the world.
