Biography

Jenna Ortega was born on September 27, 2002 in Coachella Valley, California. She was the fourth child of six in the family. Ortegas father is of Mexican descent, while her mother is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent

Ortega took up acting at the age of six. By the age of eight, with the help of her mother and agents, she began to audition and soon made her debut in an episode of Rob. Following this, she starred in an episode of the television series CSI:Crime Scene Investigation New York as Aimee Moore. Ortega also starred in the film <Iron Man 3>(2013) and played the role of Annie in the supernatural horror film <Astral: Chapter 2>

Ortega first gained fame for her roles as young Jane in The CWs romantic comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin and Harley Diaz in the Disney Channel series Harley's Life. She received an Imagen Award in 2018 for her latest role. In 2020, Ortega starred as Phoebe in the Netflix film The Nanny.
