Good afternoon, today I will tell you about my first impression of playing DotA.

It was 2011, I then went to the army, I didn’t know anything about DOTA.  From my colleagues, I heard many times how they talk about playing DotA, argue about the coolness of the heroes and the perfection of each other.  After serving 7 months, I transferred to the contract.  Therefore, I began to visit the house very often, and scrolling through the VKontakte news feed, I came across a picture with the inscryption - “Like if you have never played DotA”, and then I became very interested.  The next day, I wrote to a friend to explain to me how to install and where to download.  His choice, like mine, was iccup.com.  While the launcher and Warcraft were downloading, I rummaged through the iCap website, looking at screenshots, and reading articles from different players.  In general, after setting everything up and going into the game, I invited a friend to ride.  At first he refused for a long time, I still did not understand why))).  But in the end he agreed.  My first hero was Luna, I didn’t figure out what to collect, how to play right away.  Another friend played with my friend in the same team, and now there are three of us left, because two of our team poured after 15 minutes, perhaps because of my game))).  A friend of my friend wrote a lot of bad words about my game, and when a friend said that I was playing for the first time, he just took it and left. We were left alone, of course we lost the game, but I had fun))).

I do not regret that I started playing DotA, because it is fun, interesting, and develops thinking and clarity of certain actions.  Dota entered my life beautifully, when I came to the field of service, I enjoyed it with great pleasure, spent time in it.  I have acquired many acquaintances and friends, interesting communication, and a sea of ​​stormy emotions.

I still remember very well how I gave skills with the mouse, creeps were just terrible, they ate farm (a crutch for 15-20 minutes farmed) and skadi or tarraska was something that was not available for me. But then I downloaded AI maps home and began to train  to farm creeps, to give skills like right now everyone gives and not with a mouse, in a word, this is how I started playing DotA.

As for the question about whether it’s good or bad that I started playing DotA, then here I’ll be more neutral. DotA has its pros and cons, my personal opinion.

I regret that I started playing DotA, because it takes a lot of time, because it's almost impossible to break away from it.  After all, you have to spend a lot more time at the computer iiiii… But who am I kidding?!  I DO NOT REGRET that I started playing DotA, because DotA is one of the best things I have in my life.

Nothing has changed in my life, because there are many interesting and sociable people here who will not regret giving good and useful advice, who will support you in difficult times)))
