im kinda new player , not only in iccup but in dota at all

i never played warcraft 3 dota or dota 2 .... my only moba game was HoN

i download the WC3 client from the site and installed the launcher ... but when i join the first custom game everything go totally out of control

[1st] i cant see the items descryption, build paths and stats.... only price and names of them

[2nd] i dont know how to make difference between ranked and unranked games (in the lobby they look the sme)

[3rd] i dont know how ranked match system work... how to make the client to looking for specific players who are on my rank (how matchmaking works here?)

[4th] did there is a option to see only DOTA map games .... i mean to add some filter to the client or????

okay, i'll try:

1) you have something wrong with fonts. Try full reinstalling of WC3. And check some options in settings menus.

2) Ranked - 5x5 or 3x3; then mode; then name. Mode can be AR/SD/RD/AP/XL/CM/CD (from least pts to most). Additional mode can be added without space inbetween to play Team Balance game (system assorts players to balance game for equal chances, 50%). Examples: 5x5 AP NOOBS; 3x3 SD GOGO; 5x5 RD TB LOL (will create a non tb-mode coz of space); 5x5 RDTB RAQ (will create a tb game)

Non-ranked -- starts from *dota* and then everything host'd wanted to add. Game can be played with any number of men, mode will be entered in game and can be any. Ex.: dota 1x1 sf; dota CM ADMIN close; dota testmode; dota 5x5 TOURNEY etc.

3) dota rating system . To add filters to your game, you will need to buy (or win) Pro-Account Link Text Here are some Link Text

In short, MM here looks like this: all Players with rank less than A- are noobs and play alltogether. Players with rank from A- are *pros* and play among themselves.
